Use a Silicone Mold to Make Quick and Easy Bigfoots
I can’t remember when my son first got interested in Bigfoot, but it soon became a recurring theme in his life. He had Bigfoot themed birthday parties, wore bigfoot shirts almost daily, and bought every book on Bigfoot he could find.
Supplies
To make a hot glue Bigfoot, you will need a Bigfoot silicone mold which we found at Staples but can easily be found on Amazon, hot glue sticks and a hot glue gun and acrylic paint. I originally bought the mold to make chocolate bigfoots and white chocolate yetis for one of his birthday parties. The mold is very durable and can be used over and over again.
Instructions
1. Plug in the hot glue gun and let the glue heat up.
2. Make sure the mold is clean and dry, then fill the shape with hot glue.
3. Let the glue dry completely.
4. When dry, pop the glue Bigfoot out of the mold.
5. Using acrylic paint, paint the hot glue Bigfoot.
These could be turned into cake toppers, game pieces, keyrings or treat bag toys. Try this technique with other silicone molds and see what you can make!
